FOR YOUR CDL

Get Your Class A CDL at Elite

Students will first need to obtain their Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP). This is a written test you take at the Department of Driver Services (DDS).

IF YOU ARE A GEORGIA RESIDENT

We encourage you to obtain your Commercial Learners Permit prior to the 1st day of class.

IF YOU ARE NOT A GEORGIA RESIDENT

You will test for your Commercial Learner's Permit in the first week of class.

OBTAIN YOUR CLP BY WEEK FIVE

You are required to obtain your Commercial Learner's Permit by the end of week five of class.
