Founder, Lead Instructor
Mr. Hasty is the director of the school and does instruction as well. He attended the University of West Alabama. He went through the apprentice program at Georgia Power and achieved the level of lineman and crew leader. Prior to his present duties at ELTI, he worked at Georgia Power for 15 years as lineman and crew leader.
Mr. Cole is an instructor here at ELTI. He has been a faithful employee at Cobb EMC for the past 32 years. He moved through the ranks there starting as a Stock Clerk and has been serving as a Line Foreman since 2011. He was also the 2003-2004 International Lineman Rodeo Champion.
Mr. Mabry is an instructor here at ELTI. He is currently a Line Supervisor at Cobb EMC, where he has worked for 25 years. After 10 years as a journeyman he spent time in safety and training before becoming a Foreman. He’s also worked as the Skills Development Coordinator for a few years and helped develop new apprentice training programs. He has also been active in the Georgia Lineman’s Rodeo association by serving on the steering committee.
Mr. Annunziata is an instructor here at ELTI that served in the US Marine Corps from 1977-1980. He started in the line work in 1981 and began his apprenticeship at that time. He has spent approximately 32 years in the utility industry as a lineman and crew leader. He recently retired from Georgia Power after being there for 11 years, and now finds it a privilege to be able to train and mentor young people beginning their new careers as linemen.
Ms. Blake is the office secretary at ELTI. She is a recent graduate of Berry College with majors in Psychology and German, where she worked in the Admissions Office. She plans to one day pursue her Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, but until then she is happy to be here at ELTI.
Mr. Witt is responsible for the media content for ELTI. He is a graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received his Bachelors in Communications.
