International Lineman's Rodeo Scholarship
The International Lineman’s Rodeo is held once a year in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The association has a scholarship committee that gives away 10 scholarships a year for students attending lineman schools. The committee is intent on getting more people into this great industry.

Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation’s Work Ethic Scholarship Program
The Work Ethic Scholarship Program is about recognizing people who understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude. These are hardworking men and women getting trained to keep the lights on, water running, and air flowing. These are the people who show up early, stay late, and bust their butts day in and out. This scholarship isn’t for everyone, but if you’re willing to jump through some hoops to apply for this Work Ethic Scholarship, we want to reward the next generation of aspiring skilled workers.

The Cobb EMC Line Worker scholarship gives those interested in pursuing a career in line work the opportunity to receive a scholarship to cover educational expenses at an approve line worker school. The scholarship is open to any Georgia resident.

GreyStone Power Corporation Lineman School Scholarship
The GreyStone Power Corporation scholarship program is intended to assist, support and encourage those in the community who are aspiring linemen. GreyStone will be providing four $5,000 scholarships to local individuals entering a lineman training school in Georgia. All applicants must be a GreyStone Power member or GreyStone Power member’s child living in a home served be GreyStone Power.

Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative Scholarship
Carroll EMC offers the Lineman School Scholarship to support aspiring electrical line workers who are committed to building a career in the utility industry. Applicants must be a graduating senior in good standing, a high school graduate, or hold a GED, and must have a connection to Carroll EMC as a member, a member’s child living in a serviced home, or as an employee or their child or grandchild. Candidates are expected to maintain a drug-free lifestyle and a safe driving record, and must complete an online application and participate in a personal interview with the selection team. Scholarship funds are awarded directly to the selected lineman school and can be used for tuition, textbooks, and related fees, with funds available for up to 24 months after the award date. Applications open in November.

Fat Boy Foundation
The Fat Boy Foundation was created in memory of Jonathan Holland. Named in the same spirit as his beloved lawn care business, Fat Boy Lawn Care, the foundation carries forward Jonathan’s passion for hard work and helping others.
To honor his memory, his parents, Nathan and Karen Holland, started the Fat Boy Foundation to help hardworking young people like Jonathan chase their own dreams.
